Our Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic team is passionate about our pets. Our staff has a combined total of 35 dogs and cats in our households. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care. We hope it shows with every visit!

Dale P. Gleason, DVM

Dr. Gleason, pictured with his family, is the owner and lead veterinarian at Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. A North Texas native, he graduated from Denton High School before attending Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1995, a degree in Veterinary Science in 1996, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.

Dr. Gleason is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with the families and animals he serves. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on Aggie sports, and enjoying the outdoors through running, boating, golfing, and working on the land.

He lives in Sanger, Texas, with his wife. Their two sons are both Aggie graduates, continuing the family’s strong Texas A&M tradition. Their household also includes a beloved extended animal family: dogs Shaylee Beagle and Poppy, Max the cat, and their cattle.

Sydney Poole, DVM

Dr. Poole graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and a minor in business. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Poole enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and values creating strong connections with both pets and their owners. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care and helping clients make informed decisions about their pets’ health.

In her free time, Dr. Poole enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Blake and Buffy, watching sports, being with family and friends, and spending time outdoors.

Kristi Gleason

Kristi is the practice manager for Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. A 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University, Kristi has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology. Prior to this position, Kristi taught for 9 years in the public school system.

Alyse

Alyse is our front end receptionist. She loves being the first to greet all the fur babies! Alyse enjoys spending time with her family and her 4 dogs keep her busy.

Jaclyn

Jaclyn loves all the soft and cuddly animals, learning about new breeds, and being able to connect with all of them. She loves being able to use skills to help restore the health of all the pets. She also loves spending time with family, going out with friends, and cooking.

Kaycie

Kaycie is our office manager who enjoys getting to see all the patients grow up. She loves seeing their excitement when they come in the door, and all the cuddles she gets.

Kaycie enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and cheering on her boys at sporting events.

Gabby

Gabby is currently attending the University of North Texas (UNT), where she is pursuing her education with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. Her love for animals extends beyond her career aspirations—she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and being surrounded by the people she cares about. When she’s not studying or working, Gabby loves spending time with friends and family.

Carlie

Carlie enjoys caring for and spending time with all the furry friends who come into the clinic. She is passionate about helping provide each animal with the care, comfort, and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, sewing, and spending time with her dogs.

Katerina

I’ve always loved being around animals, so I’m really excited to be working at the clinic! I love getting to meet all the dogs and cats and learning new things every day. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my boyfriend and my two fur babies, Poe and Turp. Poe is my Corgi and definitely my baby! I also love being outdoors, spending time at the farm, and just enjoying time with the people and animals I love.
