Our Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic team is passionate about our pets. Our staff has a combined total of 35 dogs and cats in our households. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care. We hope it shows with every visit!

Dale P. Gleason, DVM

Dr. Gleason (shown with his family) is the owner and veterinarian at Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. A 2000 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Gleason received a degree in Veterinary Science in 1996 and a degree in Biomedical Science in 1995 from Texas A&M University. He finished high school here in North Texas at Denton High School.

Dr. Gleason is a family man. Spending time with his family trail running, volunteering for Sanger ISD, coaching and watching kids’ sports are among his favorite activities. He resides in Sanger, Texas, with his wife and two sons, and as you might expect from a veterinarian, they have an extended family which includes dogs named Shaylee Beagle and Poppy, Max the cat, and his cattle.

Laura McMahan, DVM

Dr. Laura McMahan graduated from Texas A&M in 1993. She spent her first several years of practice in North Dallas, enjoying mixed animal practice as well as emergency work. She saw many rewarding years with her own practice in Madisonville and then later in The Woodlands, TX. Recently, Dr. McMahan relocated back to the North Dallas area to be closer to family. After 32 years of practice, she continues to enjoy helping animals and their pet parents.

Kristi Gleason

Kristi is the practice manager for Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. A 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University, Kristi has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology. Prior to this position, Kristi taught for 9 years in the public school system.

Alyse

Alyse has always loved animals, so being any part of helping with them is a great feeling for Alyse. Alyse enjoys spending time with her family and making her own dog food for her 5 dogs.

Jaclyn

Jaclyn loves all the soft and cuddly animals, learning about new breeds, and being able to connect with all of them. She loves being able to use skills to help restore the health of all the pets. She also loves spending time with family, going out with friends, and cooking.

Kaycie

Kaycie is our office manager who enjoys getting to see all the patients grow up. She loves seeing their excitement when they come in the door, and all the cuddles she gets.

Kaycie enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and cheering on her boys at sporting events.

Ashley

Ashley has always loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. She has 4 dogs and 2 cats of her own and she enjoys spending as much time as possible with them. Ashley enjoys helping sick and injured animals feel better.
